You graduated! Congratulations! All your efforts and persistence have led to a noteworthy achievement well worth celebrating! Now you 're ready to begin your journey toward a successful life.

But what exactly is success, and how do you find it? So many people offer opinions. These days we can read about success in how-to books, listen to podcasts to gain tips, and witness inspiring examples in all fields of endeavor. Everyone wants to know the formula for brilliant accomplishment.

The Christian, however, wants to experience success with eternal value, And the best contributor to that kind of success is wisdom, specifically God 's. In His Word, God offers guidelines by which we should live. When we follow them, we will experience the success He has for us—the kind that matters and lasts.

When you need wisdom, seek the Lord 's face, and let Him be your Guide. He wants the best for you, and in Him "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3). God 's wisdom will help you live a life of Christlike service and glorify Him in all you do. And that truly is success.

It 's Not a Solo Journey

There 's nothing like a cap and gown to get a person thinking about the future!

Despite the unknowns, what lies ahead for you is exciting—even if you wonder how you 'll navigate the waters. As you consider the future, rest assured that you won 't be going it alone.

We know this because one name for Jesus is Emmanuel, which means "God with us." Jesus is with you today, and He promises to be with you tomorrow and every day after that.

God is available to us via His Word. In the Bible 's pages, you 'll find God 's guidance for any situation that comes your way and all the decisions and trouble you will face. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God ... and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).

And finally, He draws close to us in prayer: "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him to all who call upon Him in truth" (Psalm 145:15).

With gifts like prayer, wisdom, and Jesus ' very presence, your life is never a solo journey. What a comfort!

I shall not want.

He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
